We all know that our civilization originated in Mesopotamia – a fertile valley between the two rivers Tigris and Euphrates. Scientists can trace the evolution of humanity at every stage, as this area has been continuously inhabited for more than 8000 years. Mesopotamia has grown from small settlements to powerful cities and great empires, whose fame still excites the mind. The peoples of Mesopotamia gave us many elementary things that now seem completely ordinary to modern people: the first cuneiform-we can write, we count from 1 to 10, we divide an hour by 60 minutes, and min - by 60 seconds, geometry, astronomy, 7 days a week, zodiac signs..... In this tour you wıll explore Northern Mesopotamia, which occupies the south-east of Turkey. Most of the major cities in this area of the country stand on the archıtectural ruins of ancient city-states: Sumer, Akkad, Babylon, Urartu. You have heard all this, now it's your turn to see it and tread ın the footsteps of Hıstory!
