GRAND BLACK SEA TOUR WITH FLIGHT General Information About

 

                       Tour capacity is limited to 40 people.

1. Day: ANTALYA – TRABZON

We meet at the Antalya International Airport at 8 am and take the flight to Trabzon via Sun Express at 09:40. We get on the vehicle which is waiting for us at Trabzon Airport and drive along to Gülbahar Hatun (who is the wife of Sultan Mehmet the conqueror) Mosque, Zağnos Stream, and Trabzon Castle, we then stop at Atatürk Mansion which was built by Konstantin Kabayanidis in the Art Neuve(New Art) style on Soğuksu Hill and is a gift from the people of Trabzon to Atatürk.

Our next stop is Trabzon Hagia Sophia. After getting to know this architectural wonder and its frescoes, dedicated to Hagia Sophia in İstanbul during the Komnenos Kingdom, we go to the largest silver workshop in the region. Here we learn about the intricacies of Kazaziye art with its silver, filigree, Trabzon wicker bracelet, and craftsmanship made by three families only in Trabzon in our country, described as the most valuable art brought to the region by the Kazaz Turks and arousing admiration for women.

Later on, we move to our hotel which is in Hopa for dinner and accommodation.

2. Day: HOPA -BATUM

We leave the hotel early in the morning and move to Georgia. Batum is considered as “Las Vegas” of the Blacksea

Located in the middle of high hills, a deep blue sea, and a lush forest, Batum is the capital of the Adjara Autonomous Republic of Georgia.

Batum can be called a city with sculptures with architectural structures reflecting the Soviet Russia Period, wide boulevards lined with magnolia trees, and unique parks.

Batum Boulevard draws attention with its 7 km long palm-lined boulevard running parallel to the beach in the city center, cafes, fountains, statues, and park areas.

Piazza Square, one of the most beautiful places in Batum, is reminiscent of the squares of European cities.

It’s worth seeing Theater Square, one of the colorful squares of the city. There comes Opera Building right next to the square. The statue of the sea god Poseidon, located in the Theatre Square, is one of the most magnificent statues in the city.

Europe Square is the main square of the city.

The other places to see in Batum are; the statue of Medea holding a golden sheepskin, Astronomic Clock which is similar to the one in Prag and Venice, Chacha Tower which is 25 m in height, Love Statue (Ali and Nino Statue), 7 m heigh metal statue near the Batum Harbour, Alphabet Tower which is built in 2012 and dedicated to Georgian Alphabet.

After getting to know about Batum from the tour guide, we leave this wonderful place.

Dinner and accommodation will be at our hotel.

*According to the agreement between Turkey and Georgia governments, Turkish citizens can move to Batum only with their identification card with a chip and id number on it. They are not allowed to pass with other cards such as driving licenses etc.
**Our guests under the age of 18 who will not be traveling with their family must obtain a notarized consent letter for their transition to Batum.

3. Day: KARAGÖL-MACAHEL-MARAL WATERFALL- AYDER PLATEAU

After having breakfast at the hotel, we start our journey with Borçka Black Lake which is the hidden paradise of Blacksea.

Borçka Black Lake, which has been mentioned frequently in recent years and attracted attention and admiration in the social media world, has managed to preserve its naturalness.

The landscape and nature in the lake will offer us a visual feast.

Then we visit Macahel, which is rarely seen in the World, recorded as the only biosphere area of our country, and astonishing scientists with its ecosystems.

After this region, which consists of Camili, Efeler, Düzenli, Uğurlu, Kayalar, and Maral villages, we move to Maral Waterfall. At the point where the waterfall is located, we will get out of our vehicles. After a short but unique walk, we’ll see Turkey’s highest waterfall (65 mt)

We’ll have a break at a humble coffee shop where we can see the waterfall directly opposite.

Accommodation and dinner will be at our hotel.

4. Day: AYDER PLATEAU -ÇİNÇİVA-ZİLKALE-PALOVİT WATERFALL-HALA VALLEY-FIRTINA STREAM

We start the Ayder Plateau trip after having breakfast at our hotel.

After visiting Gelintülü Waterfall and Ayder, we get on the minibusses waiting for us in Çamlıhemşin. We continue along Çat Valley and have a break in Şenyuva(Çinçiva) Stone Bridge to take some pictures. While we take our pictures with a wonderful view of Çinçiva Village, our guide will inform us about Blacksea mountain architecture for us to learn more about the mountain architecture of Blacksea.

We will reach Zil Castle after the picture break. We visit the castle reminiscent of the Eagle’s Nest, which was built 750m above sea level and 100m above the Çat creek, which is in a very important position in terms of trade security and we will pass to Palovit Waterfall to experience a magical world in the unique beauty of the Kaçkars and plenty of oxygen.

Then we will visit Hala Valley and take a picture break on one of the beautiful examples of stone bridges in the region, the Hala Bridge. We will also see Fırtına Stream and Valley.

After completing the day with unforgettable memories, we move to our hotel, which is located in Ayder, for dinner and accommodation.

5. Day: AYDER-UZUNGÖL-KARESTER PLATEAU-SÜMELA MONASTERY-KAYABAŞI PLATEAU

After having breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we come to Çaykara and go to Uzungöl from there. Uzungöl, located at an altitude of 1090 m above sea level, leaves behind the beauty of the Alps with its steep slopes and magnificent forest cover. Located in the middle of the valley and formed by the rocks falling from the slopes blocking the Haldizen Stream, the lake is known as "Uzungöl" and the environment was given the same name. Especially the old wooden houses of the nearby Şerah village, built in a local style, complete the beauty of nature. We get on the minibusses waiting for us here and set off towards the Karester Plateau. We see Uzungöl from 2000 m above sea level during our 2-2.5 hours highland tour. Then we return to Uzungöl and after the free time we will have, we go to our vehicle. After spending time on the viewing terrace that will allow you to see Sürmene Castle panoramically, we pass through the Maçka district of Trabzon and reach the protected Altındere National Park. This journey, which we will make by watching the magnificent beauties of nature along Coşandere, will be crowned with the appearance of Sümela Monastery. It is said that the monastery, which was founded in the name of the Virgin Mary by two monks, Barnabas and Sophranios, who came from Athens during the reign of Byzantine Emperor Theodosius I (375-395), took the name "Sümela" from the word "molasses" meaning "black". After the photo break, we will have here, we go to Akçaabat Kayabaşı Plateau and pass to our hotel.

6. Day: AKÇAABAT-TİREBOLU-GİRESUN

After having breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we get on our vehicle to go to Tirebolu. We reach Tirebolu 42, one of the boutique tea factories in the region. While sipping our teas, we learn about tea production and the subtleties of tea. Our next stop is Tirebolu Castle. It is thought that this castle was built in the 15th century. We are exploring this magnificent structure whose architecture will really interest you. After the free time, we will have after our visit, we move on to Giresun. Our next stop is Giresun Castle, where we can take panoramic photos and have a bird's-eye view of Giresun. After our castle tour, we see the Topal Osman Ağa monument. This monument belongs to Topal Osman Ağa, who voluntarily participated in the Balkan War. Osman Ağa heroically fought against the Greeks when the Ottoman state entered the first world war. We take a photo break in Giresun, complete our visit and move on to our hotel for accommodation.

7. Day: GİRESUN-ORDU-SAMSUN

After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we take our vehicle to go to Ordu. When we reach Ordu, we take the cable car to Boztepe, where folk songs are sung, to watch the city to its fullest. We photograph the view of Ordu on one side and the vast Black Sea view on the other, and after the free time we will give, we set out to go to Samsun. Tekkeköy Caves Archeology Valley, which has thousands of years of history, and is known as the third oldest human settlement in Turkey, contains the remains of the Paleolithic Age, Mesolithic Age, and Bronze Age, and reveals the first-floor campus with its layered caves. Tekkeköy Caves Archeology Valley Museum House, the last museum opened in Samsun, was created by restoring one of the three registered old Greek houses in the valley. The museum house, which is the first imitation museum of Turkey, contains the materials about the life in the cave and its surroundings, pottery pieces and sculptures found in the excavations in the caves, tours with the narrations of our guide. We are visiting the Bandırma Ferry. We also visit the Atatürk Honor Monument which was built by the Australian Sculptor Heinrich Krippel. We visit the building, which was restored in 1940 and turned into a museum and serves as the Gazi Museum. After our free time, we pass to Samsun Airport. We start our return journey to Antalya with the Sun Express 19:50 flight and we say goodbye to meet at the next Talya Tur organization.
