We leave the hotel early in the morning and move to Georgia. Batum is considered as “Las Vegas” of the Blacksea
Located in the middle of high hills, a deep blue sea, and a lush forest, Batum is the capital of the Adjara Autonomous Republic of Georgia.
Batum can be called a city with sculptures with architectural structures reflecting the Soviet Russia Period, wide boulevards lined with magnolia trees, unique parks.
Batum Boulevard draws attention with its 7 km long palm-lined boulevard running parallel to the beach in the city center, cafes, fountains, statues, and park areas.
Piazza Square, one of the most beautiful places in Batum, is reminiscent of the squares of European cities.
It’s worth seeing Theater Square, one of the colorful squares of the city. There comes Opera Building right next to the square. The statue of the sea god Poseidon, located in the Theatre Square, is one of the most magnificent statues of the city.
Europe Square is the main square of the city.
The other places to see in Batum are; the statue of Medea holding a golden sheepskin, Astronomic Clock which is similar to the one in Prag and Venice, Chacha Tower which is 25 m in height, Love Statue ( Ali and Nino Statue), 7 m heigh metal statue near the Batum Harbour, Alphabet Tower which is built in 2012 and dedicated to Georgian Alphabet.
After getting to know about Batum by the tour guide, we leave this wonderful place.
